Sienna’s Story
Sienna is a beautiful grey & cream female tabby born in the streets of Quebec with her siblings in June. She arrived at a shelter there and eventually made her way to us here in Ontario.
She arrived as a petrified, nervous wreck who jumped at the thought of a human nearby and did everything in her power to get away. She has made tremendous leaps and bounds since being with an experienced foster. She finally accepts humans! She loves human attention so much that she will now go up to strangers asking for it and will seek out a lap to cuddle in. She enjoys head rubs, especially under the chin. If you come at her too fast or when you are standing, she becomes nervous and runs. Her confidence has grown so much and with that perfect family she will become such a friendly, confident kitten.
She can often be found chasing toy mice, going crazy with her siblings or snoozing in a kitten pile on a bed. She is best adopted out with a sibling to help continue to improve her confidence. She enjoys playing with them but a home that currently has a friendly, playful cat would also be considered instead. She is not a fan of being held, she prefers all feet on the ground but enjoys crawling into your lap to get some love and attention.
She will need a special home that will work with her to come more out of her shell and understands that she had a rough start to life and may have the tendency to run from scary things.
She will be spayed before adoption, vaccinated and dewormed twice, flea treated and microchipped. She is comfortable with other cats and dogs but due to her nervousness is only suited to a home with no young children and a less chaotic household.
