Cheeto & Nemo’s Story
Meet Cheeto & Nemo - Dog Speed's adoptable bonded pair kittens!
Cheeto (darker and chubby) & Nemo (lighter and skinny) arrived from a high-kill shelter in Quebec at only 4 weeks old. They have come a long way since being in foster care for just a short month. Cheeto & Nemo get along great with dogs & cats but have not been tested with children so that is unknown.
They are super affectionate and will purr the second you touch them. They both instantly want to be held and will roll over for belly rubs. They are very rambunctious and love to explore and try new things - nothing scares these boys. Nemo is more confident than his brother. Cheeto relies on Nemo to help build his confidence and will get nervous if Nemo is not in sight. They are always cuddling each other!
Nemo has been diagnosed with a low grade (innocent) heart murmur. He will be re-checked in 3 weeks to see if it has started to get better, which can happen in innocent heart murmurs. At this time it does not cause any medical issues and most likely will not in the future but he will need routine check-ups.
Nemo and Cheeto will be neutered, vaccinated 3 times (minus Rabies), microchipped, dewormed twice, given revolution, and, after the meet and greet
at their foster home, will be delivered to their new home when ready. They need to be adopted as a pair and the adoption fee has been lowered to $215 (from $250 due to the routine vet checks Nemo will need to check his heart). If you are interested, please email Amber at amber.dogspeed@gmail.com
