Buggie’s Story
Buggie is a neutered male shitzu mix, approximately 7 years old.
He is very sweet and quite independent. He’s not quite a lap dog, but does enjoy sitting on the couch near his person.
He is a very happy boy. He likes to meander around outside but he’s not high energy and would be quite happy with a small tour around the block once a day. He walks well on leash but he’s not very fast.
Buggie gets along with other dogs - he’s hesitant at first and may try to dominate but that lasted only a day at the foster. Currently unknown how he is with cats and children.
Buggie is house-trained, manages the stairs and can jump up on the couch and chairs. He also likes to spend time on the floor lounging.
He does have a heart murmu but it requires no medication and does not interfere with his life. He also has premature cataracts but can still see quite well and navigates his surroundings very well.
