Skeeter’s Story
**ADOPTION PENDING** Skeeter is an incredibly loving little dog that was obviously handled more than a little roughly in his past life. (He’s very “skeeterish” – hence his name.) He screeches if you touch his neck unexpectedly or if the leash catches his leg. He also startles very easily but that will improve with good love and attention. FYI, he will emit a very high caterwaul if a big dog approaches him so he would do best in a home with small dogs or as your personal lap warmer. Or head warmer. Or feet warmer. Or belly warmer. You see where he’s coming from, right? There has never been a cuddlier dog and once he warms up to you – well, you’ll be permanently warm for the rest of your days! He does have arthritis so he’ll need low impact exercise to keep him limber and will not overtax his joints. Medium paced walks would be ideal. He is house trained and will ask for the door when he needs to go out. If you are looking for a little ball of fluffy love, you will definitely find it here!
