|Breed:||Parson Russell Terrier|
Foxy is a 13 year old neutered Parson Russell Terrier who's recent first ever forever home did not work out. His new mom had medical issues and was struggling with his house training and barking so returned him. He is currently living at the clinic, which is causing him some stress - he really needs to get into a foster or forever home as soon as possible.
Foxy was a breeding kennel dog so never had a proper home, which is why he is only just learning house training now. He will tolerate a diaper if his person wants to use them for house training.
He is a lovely little dog who walks ok on leash - he will pull just a little bit when he gets really excited to go, but its all new to him. He is crate trained but not fully house trained yet. Foxy is social and doesn't like to be alone, so barks when left, probably due to a little separation anxiety. Foxy is very well behaved the rest of the time and likes people and other dogs.
He would do best in a home where someone is there most of the time, perhaps someone retired or who works from home who can continue working on his house training and his separation anxiety.
Foxy is up to date on vaccines until spring 2019. His blood work was good when he was neutered in October, 2017. He does need dental work but he did take a week to bounce back from the anesthetic after his recent neuter so dental work was postponed.
