Hank came to us after we were contacted by his veterinarian’s office to see if we could help him. His owner could no longer care for him and his future was looking grim. He has since undergone an eight-week board and train program and has completely blossomed during his training program. He is now proficient in all his obedience cues and has developed exceptional manners. He is house trained, crate trained and has never shown any destructive behaviors in the home. He is incredibly smart and enjoys training and learning new skills and behaviors.
Hank is a total sweet-heart and is perfectly content to lounge around the house all day, bask in the sunshine outside or accompany you on a stroll in town or on the trails. He is not your typical hound and is quiet when outside, does very well off leash and doesn’t show a lot of interest in putting his nose to the ground and taking off- he is completely devoted and attached to his “people” and has no interest in leaving them.
Hank is 6 years old and is up to date on all vaccines, neutered and comes with a free training program and ongoing support if needed for his new adoptive owners. He is a bit nervous of young children and would do best in an adult only home. He gets along well with cats and well-mannered dogs.
There is no adoption fee for Hank, however his new owners would need to purchase his training equipment which comes to $300.00.
