Sydney’s Story
Sydney is a lovely blue merle Border Collie/Australian Shep mix. She turned 10 years old Dec. 4, 2018. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Her owners are both very ill and can no longer keep her, they want to ensure she finds a perfect new forever home.
She is a friendly girl, likes people, good with other dogs and children, cats unknown.
Typical of her breed, Sydney is a high energy dog, and thus can become anxious at times. She will either whine or bark and get excited when the doorbell rings, or a strange noise or new people. She is good with other dogs at the kennel she occasionally boards at, but does get a bit anxious when seeing other dogs when leashed during walks.
Sydney's foster mom says she is a really great dog, friendly and gets along great with her other dogs.
Sydney would do best in a home that understands the breeds' high energy and can provide the physical and mental stimulation she needs.
